 Agnes Krolikowski

owner/senior stylist

“If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.”

Agnes opened 4 elements in 2006 with her sister Maggie, bringing 30 years of experience and a love of client care to the River North. She’s passionate about her business and takes pride in the relationships she’s built with her clients. Her signature cut is the bob. She also loves doing highlights and corrective colors as well as special-occasion hair, like up-dos for proms and weddings. Outside of work, Agnes has turned her love of animals into positive action. While traveling in Peru, she fell in love with a street dog. Named for the city where he was found, “Cusco” now lives the good life with Agnes and her family in Chicago. But saving one dog wasn’t enough. Through her “Friends of Cusco” webpage, she’s raising money to help other Peruvian street dogs get the care they need. Want to learn more? Maggie Swierczek
owner/senior stylist

“Be in love with your life. Every minute of it.”

Maggie and her sister Agnes opened 4 elements in 2006, creating a one-stop luxury salon where her staff and clients are her family. Expert at both cuts and colors, Maggie especially enjoys doing highlights, color, and wedding styles. She’s a world traveler, with recent visits to Vietnam, Cambodia, Peru, Costa Rica, and a tour of Europe that included Spain, Portugal, and France. When she’s not working or globetrotting, you can find her cuddled up with her German Shepherd Dog Bailey, dreaming of climbing Kilimanjaro.

Ricky Brady
senior stylist

“Always look for the positive.”

Ricky has been with 4 elements since the salon’s inception. He cuts, colors, and styles but especially enjoys giving haircuts that help clients feel great about themselves. He loves exercise and animals — so much so that he sometimes wishes he owned a farm.

Timothy Jack
senior stylist

“To live is to risk it all. Otherwise you are just an inert chunk of randomly assembled molecules drifting wherever the universe blows you.”

Looking to do something different that makes an impact? Tim’s your man. He’s a jack of all trades who considers natural color work his specialty. He loves teaching clients how to better manage their styles and enjoys getting to know clients he otherwise wouldn’t have contact with. Outside of work, he spends his time playing guitar and giving head-bumps to his lady cat, Bowie.

Ashley O’Connor

senior stylist

“Challenges are what make life interesting, and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.”

Ashley is 4 elements’ resident hair and spray tan specialist. She cuts and colors but especially enjoys blonds and creative color work. To Ashley, her job is as much social as it is work; she loves getting to know her clients and sharing her days with her coworkers. An avid traveler, she likes to visit “a country a year.” Next up is Italy, so be sure to ask her about her trip!

Alexis Digiacomo

senior stylist

“Don’t let things you can’t control control you.”

To Lexi, doing hair isn’t just a job, it’s a passion. Furthermore, it’s about building relationships with her clients as much as delivering a service. With a BS in Health Management, she started her career in the corporate world. All that changed when she took a tour of the Paul Mitchell School. She quit her job the next day and signed up. A newlywed who lives in the western suburbs of Chicago, she’s been at 4 elements since 2014 (her first job as a stylist). Her specialties include balayage and extensions.

Iryna Chemerynskyy

Iryna Chemerynskyy

skin care/nail care

“Take care of your body. It’s the only place you have to live.”

Iryna is 4 elements’ go-to resource for nails, facials, waxing, body treatments, peels, and microabrasions. She enjoys delivering a variety of services — different services with different clients make every offering a fresh and new experience — but she derives special pleasure from helping clients with less than ideal skin achieve a healthy glow. A former body builder and bikini model, Iryna has been with 4 elements since the salon’s grand opening in 2006.

Claudia Caradonna

Claudia Sanchez
nail care

“Live your life every day because it could be your last.”

Claudia positively loves doing pedicures. She finds them almost as relaxing as her clients do, and she takes true pride in the “before and after” transformations she delivers. A devout Christian who is active in her church, Claudia simply adores children. In addition to her job at 4 elements, she babysits a 3 year old!

Gia Guerrero

senior stylist

“Love is love is love.”

Gia has been styling hair at 4 elements since 2012, where she specializes in both cuts and colors but especially enjoys creating a beautiful set of highlights. She loves making people feel good about themselves; it’s her happiness. Outside of work, Gia volunteers at the Gender Sex Development Clinic within the Lurie Children’s Hospital. She is a proud member of the trans community and a supporter of LGBTQ rights. Her goal is to making every client in her chair feel cared for and beautiful.
