Agnes Krolikowski

Owner/senior stylist

“If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.”

Agnes opened 4 elements in 2006 with her sister Maggie, bringing 30 years of experience and a love of client care to the River North. She’s passionate about her business and takes pride in the relationships she’s built with her clients. Her signature cut is the bob. She also loves doing highlights and corrective colors as well as special-occasion hair, like up-dos for proms and weddings. Outside of work, Agnes has turned her love of animals into positive action. While traveling in Peru, she fell in love with a street dog. Named for the city where he was found, “Cusco” now lives the good life with Agnes and her family in Glenview , IL. But saving one dog wasn’t enough. Through her “Friends of Cusco” webpage, she’s raising money to help other Peruvian street dogs get the care they need.

Maggie Swierczek

Owner/senior stylist

Maggie and her sister Agnes opened 4 elements in 2006, creating a one-stop luxury salon where her staff and clients are her family. Expert at both cuts and colors, Maggie especially enjoys doing highlights, color, and wedding styles. She’s a world traveler, with recent visits to Bali, Vietnam, Cambodia, Peru, Costa Rica, and a tour of Europe that included Spain, Portugal, and France. When she’s not working or globetrotting, you can find her cuddled up with her German Shepherd Dog Bailey and recently adopted from Mexico labradoodle Pako  dreaming of climbing Kilimanjaro.

Timothy Jack

Looking to do something different that makes an impact? Tim’s your man. He’s a jack of all trades who considers natural color work his specialty. He loves teaching clients how to better manage their styles and enjoys getting to know clients he otherwise wouldn’t have contact with. Outside of work, he spends his time playing guitar and giving head-bumps to his lady cat, Bowie. 

Milena Phillipov

To Milena, doing hair isn’t just a job, it’s a passion . Originally Milena trained to be a hairstylist in her home country of Bulgaria. She takes time to give comprehensive consultation and loves delivering great cuts . She loves the challenge of making apprehensive client confident that that they will love the look they will leave with. In her spare time this mother of two grown sons keeps her creativity flowing by constantly educating herself in the craft of hairdressing and taking care of her two pooches Lola and Blue.

Ivona Kwiecinska

Her advanced training and dedication to continuous learning set her apart in the beauty industry. Outside of work, Ivona is a devoted wife and mother, cherishing time spent with her husband and son. Her warm personality and professional skills make her a beloved member of our team.

Growing up in a salon environment, she gained early exposure to the art of nail care and design, inspired by her mother, a seasoned beautician. With a passion for creating stunning nail art and providing exceptional service, Evelin combines her Colombian heritage with her expertise to offer clients a unique and personalized experience. Recently married, she continues to bring enthusiasm and dedication to her craft.

Claudia Sanchez

Claudia positively loves doing pedicures. She finds them almost as relaxing as her clients do, and she takes true pride in the “before and after” transformations she delivers. A devout Christian who is active in her church, Claudia simply adores children. In addition to her job at 4 elements, she babysits a 3 year old!
